Who I Am and What I Do

My Journey

I’ve been a Acupuncture Therapist since 1999, but have been around alternative medicine my whole life. Throughout my childhood, both my parents instilled in me the important values that I apply to my treatments, such as the importance of integrity for well being. Every day, I strive to both educate and heal my patients, empowering them to live better and healthier lives.

I began my studies under a renowned Japanese master, Masahilo Nakazono Osensei, at a small Japanese acupuncture school located in Santa Fe, NM.

In 1984 he received my first Diploma in Acupuncture at the American School of Oriental and Homeopathic Therapy. In 1995, I went on to study at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine, also in Santa Fe, NM, where I received a Master of Oriental Medicine.

I am the only acupuncturist in Alabama that practices all three modalities of acupuncture along with Chinese herbal medicine. This includes Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM), Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Japanese Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
